I know that sports gambling is huge, whether it be online or in the casinos, it's a big deal these days. Hopefully Missouri gets with the program soon and allows it, But, anyway, before I digress anymore, each week I will bring you 5 games to bet on. With College Football starting this weekend, here are my 5 games that I would throw my hard-earned money down on.
Penn St. at West Virginia: Don't buy the hype coming out of WV, Penn State will win this game fairly easily. The Nittany Lions are currently 8-point favorites. Take the points. Penn St. wins 34-20.
Clemson at Georgia: The Dawgs are 13.5-point favorites. I hate to go against Dabo Sweeney, but I have a feeling Georgia is going to score and score a lot. Clemson will come out fired up after last season's disappointment, so this is a reach, but I would take Clemson. Georgia still wins but does not cover. Dawgs 32, Clemson 21.
Notre Dame at Texas A&M: This is a huge game for both teams. If the Irish win, they have a relatively easy schedule to navigate for a while, but A&M is at home in the heat, and you know how that crowd can get down in College Station. 100,000 will be packed in there to see the Aggies try to upset the Irish. A&M are 3-point favorites. I love my Irish, but I see the Aggies pulling this one out 26-21.
Miami vs Florida: The Canes are legit contenders for the ACC title this season. The Gators are going to struggle. Head Coach Billy Napier is 2-10 against ranked opponents in his first 2 seasons as the Gator head coach. Miami 28-Florida 18.
And finally, my upset of the week. Fresno St at Michigan. The Wolverines not only lost JJ McCarthy, but also 4 starting linemen on the offense. The Michigan defense will still be tough, but it won't be enough. The NCAA is getting ready to drop the hammer on the Wolverines, which I think will also weigh heavily on the minds of Michigan's faithful. Fresno St. is 21.5-point dogs, but what the hell, I'm taking them for the upset special baby! Fresno St. 17- Michigan 16.
