The Missouri Tigers wasted little time in opening the 2024 season, jumping out to a 21-0 lead on visiting Murray State. The Tigers went on to an easy 51-0 victory.
The win moved the Tigers to 1-0 on the season.
Luther Burden III opened the scoring with a 16-yard catch from Brady Cook. He finished with 3 catches in what was a nice warm-up game for the Tigers.
Cook had a nice night, going 19-of-30 for 219 yards with the touchdown pass to Burden III.
The Tigers will host Buffalo at 6 p.m. next Saturday, looking to move to 2-0 on the season.
